172cm sunshade pole.
Perfect if you’re replacing a single pole of this length. *Note that depending on the year of manufacture, your medium sunshade may not be the same height as these here.
The pole is in new condition, made of 1mm powder-coated aluminum and has the same 12-month limited warranty as the 165cm one. Comes delivered without the Lycra pole sleeve.
The pole height and rope length are carefully designed to provide you with a stable setup. For that reason, large poles cannot be used with medium sunshades and vice versa.
Poles are sold as a single unit (not a set), as we recommend just three poles total for most people.
Poles are aluminum, break down into four 19″ sections, with a foam ball on top to protect the sunshade fabric. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

These Otentik Sunshade poles are for use with medium (“original”) size sunshades. The poles are made of aluminum, and are very lightweight and rust-resistant – a MUST for all beach goers. If your gear isn’t rust proof, you’re doing it wrong. All of our Otentik Sunshades can be purchased with two or four poles. Most of the time, you’re going to have some wind at the beach. But for those times when there’s little to no wind, an extra Otentik sunshade pole can be the difference of having plenty of space under the sunshade and a stable setup.
If the wind is switching between two directions, we will often use our sunshade with three poles and the middle one facing the middle of the two wind directions.
