4Ocean Beach Cleanup

Another incredible cleanup, co-hosted by Outsiders USA and Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company, sponsored by 4Ocean.

Well over 200 people joined us for our Earth Day beach cleanup in Daytona Beach. This was the sixth cleanup we’ve hosted, and once again people came out in force. At our last one we totalled 1,600lbs of trash removed from the beach at this location. We’re still waiting on final numbers from this cleanup, and will post asap! =)

Families drove from as far as WEST VIRGINIA (!!!) to attend this cleanup. The West family were five strong, and drove for about 800 miles to help us remove trash from the beach. Many others drove from all over Florida, including Jacksonville, Orlando and Merritt Island.

At least 8 of our friends and event co-sponsors from 4Ocean attended, including co-founder Andrew and family (including grandma!).

We always have a blast at these events and particularly enjoyed sharing a free beer and lots of smiles and laughs with our earth-conscious friends.

EVENT DATE/TIME:
April 22nd, 10am – noon, with check in at 9:45am.

EVENT LOCATION:
Ocean Deck, 127 S Ocean Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118

Bags, buckets and gloves will be provided for all volunteers at the cleanup. Each volunteer will also receive a raffle ticket for a free paddle board, and a free beer (21+) courtesy of Persimmon Hollow Brewing.

We will also provide drinking water and ask that you PLEASE bring a REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE with you, as cups will not be distributed!

Community service hours will also be available for any students or others who need to log hours.

We hope to see you all there, ready to make a difference!
